Archie Fred Gullette was the youngest of ten children born to the late Sim Gullette and Johnnie Mae Gullette. He was born on February 8, 1956 in Clayton, Alabama.
He accepted Christ as his personal Savior and joined Shiloh Baptist Church, He attended the Barbour County School System. He was employed with TNS Mills for over nineteen years as a fork lift driver.
Archie is preceded in death by his parents, Sim and Johnnie Mae Gullette; two sisters, Minnie Pompey and Lula Jones; one brother, John Richard Gullette.
He leaves cherished memories to his devoted and loving wife of over twenty-three years, Gloria Marshall Gullette; five children, Archie Fred Gullette, Jr of Atmore, AL, Felicia Gullette of Clayton, AL, Brandon J. Gullette of Eufaula, AL, Lakesha S. Hunter-Richardson (Willie), Terry M. Daniels (Tyonna) of Sharon, PA; seven grandchildren, Vinterrius Devose, Jan’yah Scott, Jacorey D. Hunter, Jamarrion Richardson, Tyhier Steal, Terry M. Daniel, and Chahel K. Gullette; seven siblings, Simmer Gullette (Ruby) and Hattie Thomas, of Clayton, AL, Janie M. Glenn (Robert) of California, Elizabeth Miller (Jamie) of Rochester, NY, Mable O’Hara (Simon), Hosie Gullette (Margaret) and Patricia Gullette, all of Clayton, AL; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Larry Marshall (Dora) of Georgetown, GA, Brenda Robinson (AJ) of Chicago, IL, Alfred Marshall (Annie), Catherine Warren (Solomon), and Patricia Brown, all of Eufaula, AL, Diane Caldwell (Dewane) and Virginia Williams (Daren), all of Phenix City, AL; a devoted special friend, Patricia Micken of Clayton, AL; a god daughter, Gloria Jones of Clayton, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.
