Bettye joined the Mt. Olive Missionary Church at an early age, where she remained faithful until her health failed.

A Time To Die

Bettye departed her life Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe & Murry Heath; three      brothers, Curtis Glover, Otis and Jessie Heath; one sister, Dorothy Mae Heath.

She leaves cherished memories to her lifetime partner, Luster Penn; her son, Kelvin Markel (Jessica) Heath of Eufaula, AL; her loving daughter and also her caretaker, Tenekeia Vonyea Heath of Clayton, AL; six grandchildren, Ke’Von Heath (Shakyah Parks) of Valdosta, GA, Jessie Hardwick of Eufaula, AL, Jyheim Heath (Jorrny Mixon), Zyrion Heath (Erryn Bryd) of Eufaula, AL, Khristian and LayLa Heath of Clayton, AL; three great-grandchildren, Jace, Alaiyah and Jaleese Heath, all of Eufaula, AL; two brothers, Freddie ( Pearlie) Glover of Hamlin, NY, and Rev. E.L. (Mary) Heath; two sisters, Lizzie Person and Callie Heath of Clayton, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
