Mrs. Carolyn Woodson Bouier was granted her peace on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. No more pain, no more sorrow, no more suffering. Rest peacefully in the loving arms of the Lord. Your work on earth is done, but your love will remain in our hearts forever. Carolyn Woodson Bouier was the wife of the late Walter Bouier, Jr; daughter of the late Roosevelt Jones (Dad) and the late Millie Woodson Griglen (Mom).
Carolyn grew up in Eufaula, Alabama. She attended Van Buren High School. She accepted Jesus Christ at Zion Baptist Church and later moved her membership to Mt. Level Baptist Church.
She had several different jobs, but she retired from The Vernell Mill. Her favorite hobbies were to cook, fish, and travel to the sunshine state.
In addition to her husband, her dad and mom, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Julius E. Bouier; three brothers, Jeremiah Woodson, Willie James (Elizabeth) White, and Daniel Lee (Geraldine) Woodson; one sister, Ella Mae Wright.
Cherished memories will forever be left with her four children, Robert C. (Kathy) Bouier, Angela O’Hara, Teresa Davis, and Mark Bouier, all of Eufaula, AL; one step child, Gregory Strother of New Jersey; one brother, Lou Arthur (Kay) Woodson of Atlanta, GA; three sisters, Vivian Alston of Akron, OH, Doris Bowens and Ardenia (Thomas) Henley, all of Eufaula, AL; one brother-in-law, Tommy (Rosa) Bouier of Chicago, IL; one sister-in-law, Helen (Clarence) McKinnon of Mableton, GA; ten grandchildren, La’Kesha, Marques, Maurice, Travis, Quintin, La’Darrius, Marissa, Chelsea, Teryl, Demarkus; one step grandson, Saxio; twelve great grandchildren, Quantera, Marez, Jamir, Christopher, Ta’Shun, Aiden, Deshon, Treyvonn, Harmony, Kashmire, Ca’Miya, Kalani; two great-great grandchildren, Zaila and Koulture; one god daughter, Sondra Grant; one god grandchild, Me’Isja; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
