Danny Dale Cullins was born on August 6, 1964 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Peggy Ann Cullins and Charles Edward Parker. Two brothers, Maurice Cullins and Jim Jim Cullins; one sister, Beverly Cullins; one son, Danny Dale Cullins II, all preceded him in death.
Affectionately known to all as “Iceman” or “Rooster” was educated in the Chicago School System. In his early years, he began to lean to music and cars.
At an early age, he confessed his faith in Jesus Christ as his personal Savior in Chicago, IL, where he started his drumming career. He was a percussionist who created music using his mallets. He would later reside in Alabama where he continued his love for drums and music. He joined a group called The Singing Angels, where they traveled from state to state singing for the Lord. He was also known for collecting antique cars.
He leaves precious memories to: eleven children, Tyron (Tamaria) Lindsey of Dothan, AL, Jerome Lindsey of Bakerhill, AL, Jermaine Cullins of Clio, AL, Jeannie (Calvin) Faulk of Eufaula, AL, Daniele Waters of Milwaukee, WI, Maurice Cullins of Dothan, AL, Dannisha Cullins of Chicago, IL, Courtney Lynn of Eufaula, AL, Donnella Cullins of Columbus, GA, Tarica Blackshire of Columbus, GA, and Josiah Cullins of Abbeville, AL; thirty-one grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one brother, Abe (Yanessa) Cullins; three sisters, Onanza Cullins, Adria Cullins and Audrea Cullins, all of Chicago, IL; two uncles, Anthony Parker and George Parker, both of Chicago, IL; a host of best friends, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
