Darius Jarod Pinkins

Mr. Darius Jarod Pinkins was born April 30, 2003, the beautiful son of Jretha Diggs and Darnell Rod Pinkins, in Pike County, Troy, Alabama.

He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at an early age and united with Mt. Mariah Baptist Church in Clayton, Alabama.

Darius was a graduate of Barbour County High School.  He was employed with Seohan, located in Auburn, Alabama. He enjoyed being outside and loved hunting and fishing as his pastime. Resonating throughout the community and to all who knew him, he was affectionately called Bubba.

On Saturday, January 20, 2024, at the very young age of twenty, Darius transitioned from this earthly life and entered into the hands of his Lord and Savior.

He was preceded in death by both beloved Grand-fathers, James Hargrove and Lonnie Charles Diggs.

Beloved memories will be cherished by: his mother, Jretha Diggs and father, Darnell Rod (Peggy) Pinkins; sisters, Desny Johnson of Stockbridge, GA, Lashonda James of Miami, FL, Qu’Tijah Jordan, and Hazel Jordan; brothers, Jaquavious Bowick, Javier Walker and Rodriquez Pinkins; the joys of his life, Grandmothers, Velma Pinkins and  Willie Frank Diggs; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
