Davida Cheri Hill

Ms. Davida Cheri Hill, our mother, sister, aunt, and friend, rose upon us on January 24, 1971, to the late Willie Taylor and Molly Jean Hill. She was carried away by the angels of the Lord on Tuesday, June 3, 2025.

Davida Hill was born in Newark, New Jersey and raised in Alabama by her grandmother, Sarah Pearl Hill. She was the sixth of seven siblings.

Davida was accepted with love and respect every where she went. She showed love to all and everyone loved her.

In addition to her parents and grandmother, Davida was preceded in death by her son, Shermane Hill and her brother, Waverly Hill.

She leaves cherished memories to her husband, Arthur Lasseter; her four daughters, Tatyana Hicks, Tiffany Hill, Tajzhane Hill, and Tishierra (Darius) Lasseter; her siblings, Keisha Williams, Linnette Taylor,       Terence Taylor, and Timothy Taylor; her uncle, Levy (Gloria) Hill; her four grandchildren, Kimarion   Etheridge, Amoura Howard, Darius McCall Jr, and Honest Rowell; her special friend/sister, Yolanda Adam; a host of other relatives and friends.
