Davion Kazari Brown, age 21, passed away on February 28th, 2024, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama, due to natural causes. He was born on June 10th, 2002, in Miami, Florida. Davion attended Barbour County High School, where he was known for his vibrant spirit and love for music, riding, and dancing. He leaves behind a loving mother, who dedicated all her days to caring for him, and family whose lives he touched with his resilience and strength. Despite his physical challenges, Davion’s spirit remained unyielding, inspiring all who knew him. His memory will forever be cherished by those he leaves behind. Davion’s legacy of perseverance and love will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving mother, Gwendolyn Hester (Eddie), and his cherished siblings: Nekesha Jones, Ya’Sadia (Thadius) Crawford, Anthony Hester, Jolandra Jones, and Malik Hadley. Davion will also be deeply missed by his nieces, Korea Bryant, Harmoni Wiggins, and Neveah Demeritte, as well as his nephews, Karim Bryant Jr, De’Andre Hester, Ortiv Suarez, Ke’Mavi McKinney, and Z’Kyi Crawford. His great-nephew, Asaiah VaDyke and will also be deeply missed by his grandparents, Albert and Sadie Jones, and a host of other relatives and friends.
