Diane (Harris) Scott

Diane Demetris Harris Scott was born September 15, 1970 to the late Arthur Jame Harris, Sr and Sallie Mae Harris.

She attended Clayton High School (Class of 1988).  She  accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Tabernacle A.M.E. Church.

Diane Harris was joined in holy matrimony on July 3, 1994 to Lester Scott, thirty-one years of marriage.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Sallie Harris, and mother-in-law, Ruby Scott; sisters, Shirley Harris, Linda Harris; brothers, Alfred Harris, Arthur Harris Jr, Otis Harris.

Diane D. Harris Scott, 55 of Springhill, AL, passed away on June 11, 2026 at home.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her devoted husband, Lester Scott; two brothers, Andrew Harris (Emily), and Larry Harris (Delborah); two sisters, Annie Harris, Arma Harris, all of Clayton, AL; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Harris, Clara Bennett, Trinda Harris, Deborah Pouncy (James), Flody Barlett and Tanyua Barlett; special aunts, Fannie Burks and Mollie Parkman; special uncle, Benjamin Evans; special cousin, Milton George (Evelyn); a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
