Eddie Dean Marshall was born on August 8, 1948 in Abbeville, Alabama to the late Edgar and Mary Kate Marshall. He departed his life on February 6, 2022 at his home in Abbeville, Alabama. He was preceded in death by one son, Ricky Marshall. He was a member of St. Peter Baptist Church in Abbeville, Alabama. He was a faithful member of Sunday School, Bible Study and Morning Worship. Eddie loved his children and his family. His great granddaughter, Ava, had a special place in his heart. He was also adopted by the Nelson Family. Eddie attended “Celebrate Recovery” every Thursday. He never met a stranger. He worked for over forty years with Money’s Logging Company. Eddie Dean leaves to cherish his wonderful memories: his only daughter, Patricia (Eric) Singleton of Shorterville, AL; three sons, Allen Marshall of Abbeville, AL, Curtis (Ashlie) Marshall of Indianapolis, IN, and Travis (Marquita) Marshall of Orlando, FL; twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild; two brothers, Jewell (Gertrude) Anthony of Shorterville, AL and Robert Marshall of Dade City, FL; one sister, Maybelline McCoy of Fort Gaines, GA; one aunt, Irene Whatley of Abbeville, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, a very special friend, Mary Margaret Nelson, other relatives and friends.
