Emma Eugenia (Billins) Lawrence

Emma Eugenia Billins Lawrence “Big E” was born August 25, 1947 to the late Daniel and Gussie Billins. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Bobby Billins and Nathaniel Billins.

Emma joined the church at an early age. She served faithfully until her health begin to fail. She was a current member of Greater Faith Christian Center COGIC. She attended TV McCoo School and graduated in 1965. She worked thirty -two years at West Point Pepperell in Abbeville, Alabama.

On February 26, 2022 God saw fit to call Emma home. Those left to cherish her memories are as follows: James Lawrence Jr. (Jennifer), Tatsia Lawrence and Victor Lamar Fryer. She was blessed with six grandchildren: Antonio, Ciera, Christopher, Danielle, Jamesha and James. She had the pleasure of having four great grandchildren: Jaquez, Jakayla, Da ’Nyia and Da ’Maion. Two sisters: Frankie Grimsley and Geraldine Billins. One brother: James Edward Billins. A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives/friends.
