Fred was born April 20, 1943, to the late Ruth Sylvester Bouier and Walter Bouier, Sr.
He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Mt. Level Baptist until he departed this life on Monday, January 8, 2024.
After graduating from high school, he married the love of his life, Georgia Merrill. He was employed at American Building and retired after working 35 years.
He enjoyed bartending at Country Clubs of Alabama, fishing, and playing golf. He earned an award for playing golf in 1976.
He was proceeded in death by his wife, Georgia Merrill Bouier, three children Rook Merrill, Ruth Bouier Peterson, and Allison Bouier: daughter-in-law, Debra R. Merrill.
He leaves to cherish his memories: a son, Fred (Delisha Bouier) of Eufaula, AL; six grandchildren, Denzel Merrill of Ellenwood, GA, Ladarious (Jasmine) Bouier, Sr. of Tuscaloosa, AL, Dallas Bouier, sr. of Dothan, AL. Amber Peterson and Benisia (Delvon) Clark of Houston, TX; two brothers Walter (Lillie) Bouier, Jr. of Eufaula, AL, and Tommy (Rose) Bouier of Chicago, IL, one sister, Helen (Clarence) Bouier Hicks of Atlanta, GA. He also leaves two special friends, Rebecca Caraway and Levi Cunningham and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
