Today is the celebration of life for Jacquelyn Johnson, the daughter of the late Earnest Sampson Jr and Marie Green Sampson.
Jackie (Honey) was born April 1, 1931 in Henry County, Alabama. She was a longtime member of Mary Magdalene Baptist Church, where she loved her church and church family. She loved fishing, and going to The Abbeville Senior Center. She was also a dedicated member of the Eastern Star for 75 years.
Jackie was preceded in death by her sister, Bobbie Dell Baker and brothers, Walter Sampson, Gene Sampson and Earnest Sampson Jr.
On April 1, 2025, she entered into eternal rest at her residence in Abbeville, Al with her family by her bedside.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory her one and only son, Charles (Denise) Martin, Abbeville AL; one grandson, Isaiah Coleman of Headland AL. She also leaves her special nieces, Lori Ann Sampson, Marlo Nett Baker and Letitia Baker; one special friend, Ms. Monie Lynn; a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
