James Edward Walker

 We come to remember the life of James  Edward Walker, a caring, loving father, brother, uncle and friend.

James Edward Walker passed away at the age of 78 at Crowne Nursing Facility in Eufaula, Alabama from a prolonged illness.

James was born to the late Glissie Leen Davis and the late M.C. Walker of Midway, Alabama.

James lived his early life in Midway, Alabama.  As he became an adult, as a farmer, he ventured into Barbour County where he met the love of his life, Jannie Mae Daniels.  They were married in 1968 and their union brought two children into the world, one daughter Rachel Walker and one son Matthew Walker; both from Louisville, Alabama.  Sadly his wife Jannie Daniels Walker preceded him in death January 10, 2022.

Along with his children, Rachel and Matthew, to cherish the memories of his life, he leaves one sister Ora Lee (John) Dents of San Diego, California and Freddie Lee (Lucille) Walker of Miami, Florida; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
