Johnny Edward Bennett (Bubba) was born December 7, 1961, in Clayton, Alabama, to the late James Mullin Bennett and Eddie Lee Lewis Bennett. Two brothers Joseph and Willie Ed Bennett preceded him in death.
Johnny attended Clayton High School in Clayton, AL. He gave his life to Christ at an early age and joined Old Mt Silla Missionary Baptist Church.
Johnny was employed at Cooper Lighting for 28 years. He also worked for Barbour County High School for 10 years, and for Tyson Foods for 6 years as a sanitation worker.
Johnny leaves to cherish his memories four sisters, Katherine Bennett and Clara (Otis) Harris of Clayton, AL, and Mary Lewis and Albertha (Douglas)Allen of Orlando, FL; one brother, James Bennett of Clayton, AL; one uncle , Jerry Bennett of Dothan, AL; two special nephews, Demetrius (Shinquata) Bennett of Dothan, Alabama, and Dontavious Bennett of Clayton, AL; one special niece, Latonya Bennett of Clayton, AL; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
