KENNETH TROY WOODS SR., age 61 passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 07, 2026, in Eufaula, Alabama. Born on August 22, 1964, in New York City, New York, Kenneth was the beloved son of Lillian J Woods and the late Johnny Foy Woods.
Kenneth was baptized at an early age and became a member of Calvary Baptist Church in New York City. A proud graduate of Martin Luther King Jr. High School in New York City, Kenneth embarked on diverse and industrious careers. He began his professional journey at Swiss Vault Bank in New York City and later worked at Paul Weiss Law Firm. His strong work ethic and friendly demeanor made him a valued colleague wherever he went. After moving to Alabama, he continued his commitment, to service through employment at Crowne Health Nursing Home. Kenneth then relocating to Milton Florida, he joined Faith Baptist Church, where he was a dedicated member until his health began to decline.
He never met a stranger, his warm smile and kind spirit left lasting impressions on everyone he encountered, whether among family or friends, he brought joy and laughter into every room. His faith remained a guiding force throughout his life.
He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted Mother, Lillian J. Woods; Brother, Jonathan C Woods of Eufaula, AL; his loving Children, Son, Kenneth Troy Woods Jr., of New York City, and Daughter, Miracle LaShae Woods of Eufaula, AL; Kenneth is also remembered fondly by his cherished Aunts Willie Nell Thomas and Lenora J Mencer, both of Eufaula, AL; Rosa J Hill (Dave) of Pasadena, CA, Mary J Williams of Englewood, CA, Mina J Williams of Jamaica, NY and Mildred Williams, Chicago, IL; as well as Uncles, Sigmon Jones (Lois) of Hempstead, NY and Clarence Jones (Alleyne) of Baltimore, MD. In addition, Kenneth is mourned by a host of relatives and friends whose lives were touched by his presence.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Foy Woods.
