Linda Jewel Bruce

Linda Jewel Bruce was born June 9, 1966, in Eufaula, Alabama to the late A. C. Turner and Mattie Turner. Our dear mother departed this life on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at her home.  She was fifty-nine years old.

Linda was preceded in death by her five brothers, Clarence Lee Bruce, David Lee Bruce, Willie J. Bruce, Redon Grubbs, Alvin Grubbs and one sister, Alice Bussey.

Linda accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age, and she was a member of New Hope II Missionary Baptist Church. She graduated from Sparks Technology College as a Certified Nurse Assistant. She worked in the nursing field for over 25 years and dedicated her life to taking care of many others.

Linda leaves cherished memories to her loving daughters, Zanquetha Slater and Harmony Marshall of Eufaula, AL; One granddaughter Zah’rea Slater of Eufaula, AL; three sisters, Annie Louise Bruce of Smithfield, NC, Johnnie Flowers of Atlanta, GA, Angel C. Turner of Eufaula, AL; three brothers, Johnny C. (Loretta) Turner of Abbeville, AL, Eugene (Cassandra) Sweets of Winterhaven, FL, Winfred Bethune of Jacksonville, FL; A host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
