On October 24, 1953 The Lord blessed the world with a man with a heart of gold. He soon discovered his love for God at an early age and joined Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Lloyd was also known as Boodie. He had a very giving heart and shared his fortunes with everyone. He received his GED in the job corps; he served in the United States Navy and on December 17th, 1974. He was deployed to Vietnam, later discharged October 1976. He was awarded the National defense service medal for serving in the Republic campaign. He was the First black male to be employed at Farley Nuclear Plant.
Lloyd was called home June 23, 2024. He was preceded in death by his Mother Rosie Danzey, Father Floyd Danzey, Sisters Betty and Floydie, and a brother Frank Danzey.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: Willie Floyd +Buck+, Jimmy Danzey (Valerie), Newark NJ, James Danzey, Three sisters Ida Hogan (Ben), Sue Ann Danzey, Cindy Danzey, Four aunts, Five Uncles – Special Sister Janice Nelson, 30 nieces and nephews. A Special friend Desiree Reynolds. His partner in crime Gidget the dog. A host of others relatives, loved ones and friends who wull dearly miss him.
