Lorenzo Reeves

Lorenzo Reeves, age 65, of Eufaula, AL passed away on August 6, 2022. He was born on July 29, 1957 to the late Fannie Reeves and William Reeves. Lorenzo departed this life surrounded by family. He leaves to cherish sons Lorenzo Jamar Reeves (Eufaula) and Christopher (Shun) Thomas (Eufaula), daughters Kareshia Reeves (Eufaula) and Patrice Knight (Pensacola, Florida); sister Patricia (Oliver) Martin of Columbus, Georgia; brothers Donald (Cynthia) Reeves of Eufaula, Alabama and Neil Reeves (Dallas, Georgia); fifteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, a Special Caretaker, Najah Fielder, and a Special Friend, Ethel Thomas. He was preceded in death by his mother Fannie Reeves, brothers William Earl Reeves III and Roger Reeves.

A viewing will be held Friday, August 12th, at Stanford Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 549 S Randolph Ave, Eufaula, AL 36027 from 1-6 pm. Services will be held on Saturday, August 13th, at the Stanford Memorial Chapel at 2 pm. The family is requesting that attendees wear a mask during the service. The Rev. Bobby Blackshire, Senior Pastor, New Rising Star Baptist Church, will officiate the service. Burial will take place next week at the Fort Mitchell National Cemetery.
