Marie Person Streeter was born to the late Elijah and Minnie Person on July 28, 1938 in Clayton, Alabama. She attended Marianna A.M.E. School. Early in her life, she accepted Christ and joined Marianna A.M.E. Church.
Marie Streeter was married to the late George Streeter, Sr.
On May 25, 2025, the Master sent an angel down to rock her in His arms, gently closed her eyes and whispered softly in her ears, “Peace Be Still”, my child you are now in eternal peace.
Marie Streeter was a loving person. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elijah and Minnie Person; five sisters, Evelyn Crosby, Albertha Winslett, Arilla McCall, Maureen Salter, Minnie Herron, and Mary B. Guilford; one grandson, Dwayne A. Streeter; one step son, James S. Streeter.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: six children, Mary (James) Goldston, Lurenia Streeter, Emma Wallace, John Streeter, Christine Streeter and Samuel Streeter; three step children, Ernestine Miller, George Streeter, Jr and Eula Smith; nine grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins (special cousin, Charlie Jordan) and friends
