Mary Lillie Williams Fryer was born on March 12, 1944 to the late Eddie Lee and Mary Lee Williams in Abbeville, Alabama.
Mary attended Henry County Training School. Shortly after school she lived in Tampa, FL and Fort Lauderdale, FL. She later moved to Newark, NJ, but there is no place like Alabama. She returned home and enjoyed being a seamstress at local factories.
Mary gave her life to Christ at an early age. She attended Landmark Christian Center until her health began to fail.
Mary Lillie also known as “Punkin” enjoyed her family and took great pleasure in going on vacations with them. In her spare time she enjoyed shopping, traveling, cooking and watching old clips of gospel concerts and preachers on YouTube.
Mary departed this life on earth Friday, March 31, 2023. In addition to her parents, Eddie Lee and Mary Lee Williams, she was preceded in death by her son, Dan Fryer; sister, Betty Ann Williams and brother, Eddie Dean Williams.
Loving memories will forever be cherished by her three children, Dianne Fryer, Monica Fryer and Lenard Fryer, all of Eufaula, AL; three grandchildren, Zakyriah Allen, Jeremiah Bell, and Unique Fryer; seven sisters, Mary “Ruth” Lawrence of Clayton, AL, Dora “Mary Ann” Murray of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Annie “Lois” Lindsey (Jimmy) of Pompano Beach, FL, Louise Mason (Leroy) and Gloria Blackmon of Dothan, AL, Cherrie “Tarry” Jones (Raymond) of Rochester, NY, and Mary “Nanny” Kelly (James) of Dothan, AL; a host of nieces and nephews (whom she loved dearly), aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed and remembered by those who loved her.
