Mattie P. Laseter

Mrs. Mattie P. Laseter was born on January 26, 1935 to the late Joe and Viola Hill.  She was called home to be with the Lord on August 3, 2024.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Laseter; son, Willie J. Laseter and daughter, Shirley J. Laseter.

She was a member of Berry Chapel MBC in Georgetown, Georgia in 1950, where she attended faithfully as an Eastern Star.  She relocated to Florida in 1974, where she lived until the Lord called her home.

Mattie P. Laseter leaves to mourn her: Three sons, Robert Laseter, Samuel (Lee Ethel) Laseter, Jr, and Walter C. (Lois)   Laseter; six daughters, Lela Abrams, Gloria Hooks, Gertrena Laseter, Patricia Redict, Rachel Keaton and Mary Laseter; a special stepdaughter, Juanita (Melvin) Edwards; thirty-six grandchildren, seventy-four great grandchildren, twenty-one great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
