Ruby Mosley was born on October 17, 1928, to the late Willie and Amelia Mosley in Bertha, AL. On September 26, 2022, our beloved Ruby transitioned peacefully from labor to reward.
She received her formal education in the Eufaula Public School System.
At a young age, Ruby accepted Christ and was baptized at the Star Baptist Missionary Church where she was a diligent usher and work faithfully in the church before migrating to New Jersey. Mrs. Farmer attended the Good Neighbor Baptist Church until she became ill. And she was also a member of the Brother and Sister Benevolent Association Lodge.
She was preceded in the death by her husband, Rev. Reisie Farmer, Jr. and son, Leonard Davis.
Ruby leaves to cherish her precious memories, her devoted and loving daughter, Diane M. Carpenter of Irvington, NJ; four grandchildren, Curtis, Kimberly, Lamar and Sherita; many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins; honorary daughters and sons, Denise Warren, Ann Covington, Jane James, Mary Watson, Whitney, Bryon and Williams Reaves; special daughters whom she treated as her own, Josephine Lampley, Ossie Edmonds and Mary Flythe; and other loving relatives and friends she loved dearly.
