Troy LaDon Porter was born on October 23, 1968 in Eufaula, Alabama to the late Willie Hunter and the late Nellie Porter-Morrell. He transitioned from this life on November 15, 2023 at Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus, Georgia.
Troy gave his life to Christ and joined New Covenant Mission Ministries, where he was a loyal and faithful deacon. He later moved to Columbus, Georgia, where he was employed at AlaTrade Foods in Phenix City, Alabama. Everywhere he went, he shared love, fun, and laughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Hunter and Nellie Porter-Morrell; his grandparents, Jack Porter, Mattie Porter, Willie (Son) and Mable Hunter.
He leaved to cherish his memories a son Marquavious Johnson of Columbus, GA; a daughter Asha Bell of Murfreesboro, TN; a granddaughter Aleyah Johnson of Eufaula, AL; his siblings Michael (Tabitha) Porter of Orlando, FL, Dwayne (Sharon) Porter of Hope Mills, NC, Kimberly Hinton of Columbus, GA, Sherri Hunter of Georgetown, GA and Kerri Smith of Atlanta, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, many cousins and friends. Special friends Jimmy and Howard Grant and Tom Anthony.
