Velma Ray (Harper) Reid

Velma Ray Harper Reid was born on October 14, 1948 to the late Eston and Neomia Harper.

Velma was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Eufaula.

In addition to her parents, Eston and Neomia Harper, she was preceded in death by her husband, Randal Reid and her siblings, Russell Harper and Marie Harper.

On December 17, 2023, Velma transitioned from this earthly life to eternal rest.

Velma leaves cherished memories to her beautiful children, Walter (Linda) McNatt, Jeff (Suzanne) McNatt, and Ben (Dawn) Childs; one sister, Linda Haire; grandchildren, Kasey Lee Beebus, Brandy Whitman, Tabitha Driggers, James Brodrey, Nathasha Johnson, Paris Skates, Winona Skates, Britany Skates, Bailey Cranford, Brandon McNatt, Emily McNatt, Owen  (Brooke) Childs, Trinity Childs,  Joshua “JD” Childs, Allen Childs, and Dakota Childs; fourteen great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
