Walter Bouier, Jr.

Mr. Walter Bouier Jr. was granted his peace on Friday, September 27, 2024.            “No more pain, no more sorrow.”  He was surrounded and supported by his loving family and friends during the last days of his life.  Walter Bouier Jr was the son of the late Walter Bouier Sr (Dad) and Ruth Sylvester (Mom), born on March 29, 1939.

Walter grew up in Eufaula, Alabama.  He attended Van Buren High School, Class of 1958.  He later joined Mt. Level Baptist Church in Eufaula, Alabama.  He had several jobs, but he retired from Harbison Walker.  He was well known for his yard work.  He loved to fish and travel, but the sunshine state was his favorite.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn Jackson and three   brothers, John Sylvester, J.T. Bouier, and Fred Bouier; and one grandson, Julius E. Bouier.

Cherished memories will forever be left with his loving wife Carolyn Bouier; his five  children, Gregory Strother of New Jersey, Robert C. Bouier (Kathy), Angela O’Hara,     Teresa Davis, and Mark Bouier, all of Eufaula, AL; Grandchildren, La’Kesha Bouier, Marques O’Hara, Maurice O’Hara, Travis O’Hara, Saxio Strothers, Quintin Peterson, LaDarrius O’Hara, Marrisa Williams, Chelsea Bouier, Teryl Davis Lynn, DeMarkus Bouier; Great Grandchildren, Quantera Lane, Marez Bouier, Jamir Bouier, Christopher Walker, Aiden O’Hara, Deshon O’Hara, Ta’Shun O’Hara, Treyvonn O’Hara, Harmony Dawson, Kashmire Dawson, Ca’miya Lynn, Kalani Peterson; Great Great Granddaughter, Zaila Lane; Siblings, Tommy (Rosa) Bouier of Chicago, IL, Helen (Clarence) McKinnon of Mableton, GA; one brother-in-law, Lu’Arthur Woodson; three sisters-in-law, Vivian   Alston, Doris Bowens and Ardenia Henley; two special nieces, Tameka Woodson and Catherine Ricks; one special nephew, Dan O’Neil Woodson; one god granddaughter,    Sundra Grant and one god great granddaughter, Me’lsja Lewis; very special friends, Mr. & Mrs. Jim Balkcom and Geneva Pierce; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
