Willie Robert Thornton

Willie Robert Thornton was born in Abbeville, Alabama on December 9, 1965 to the late Mattie Lou Thornton and Willie James Thomas.

On January 7, 2024, the Lord stretched out His arms and welcomed his servant into His heavenly home.  Willie was preceded in death by his mother, Mattie Lou Thornton, father Willie James Thornton, two brothers, Allen Thornton and Curtis Thornton, brother-in-law, Joe Robinson Jr and a great niece Reighlynn A. Robinson.

Willie leaves to cherish his precious memories five sisters, Minnie J. Robinson of Eufaula, AL, Mary K. Balkom of Hurtsboro, AL, Dorothy R. Lee, Helen Lee, and Sandra Reynolds, all of Abbeville, AL; one brother Render (Annie) Reeves of Abbeville, AL; three special friends, Salim Smith, Willie Williams and Preacher Man, all of Abbeville, AL; special cousin Von Goodson; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
